Day Meetings meetings meetings complicated. Today there are no photos. Keke
Last night we were testing with the tele-stethoscope and organized as you start with data management Microgrid digital clinical Napo. Around warned 21hs from Campo Serio (you can see in the pictures above where it is) who brought a woman with 10 hours of labor, complicated. The notice was given through the IP telephony network.
I was supposed to had some extra problem because Serio Country obstetrician had not been delayed in leaving it. As far the river is low and there was no moon, arrived in Santa Clotilde at 6 am. It was a cesarean and the baby step incubator, but was required intubation and mechanical ventilator is not here, so I connect an ambulance and take turns among all the baby bag.
is a Quechua family, understand Castilian, but do not want to talk, so who knows Quechua or Quichua (has less vocal, but is similar) explain them. Campo Serio later left because they go first to their shamans when they have problems and if they see that is not resolved, go to recent health post. Serious Ocean's obstetrician, who actually does everything related to health there, had to learn Quechua makes time to communicate better and learn to handle difficult situations, such as allowing him to blow mapacho snuff the mother in her head, while asking to be let touch it. When they saw that things got complicated, right was left alone, so the obstetrician told the father that had to take if or if or both would die. Accepted there and began the journey.
A brief history, lived here, what is the day to day in the Napo. A Quechua, owner this place, as were his parents, grandparents, etc., impossible to calculate age, barefoot, looking blankly as we all try to save her baby, is very very strong, believe me, this change to anyone.
I am sure that in Argentina we also have the same scenarios. Today there are no photos.

A map please! Objectives The Napo
can see a map of Peru. Figure the city of Iquitos and our work area is the Northwest. You see the Amazon River, Iquitos passing and then moving toward the east and the Rio Napo, which is moving northwest parallel to the Putumayo River and the border between Peru and Colombia.
This is a graphic map as wifi network in which we work, runs nearly 500 km. The first position is the Regional Hospital and the last post is Cabo Pantoja, on the border with Ecuador. In the graph you can see the distances, names of points and if health centers, health posts, etc. The bandwidth we have is 3 megabytes, from end to end.

Someone Showing Boobs With No Shirt!!!!!!!
the Amazon River, and the Napo, are with very little water, which made it difficult to navigate because there are many logs and sandbars, but in short, we left at 6 Iquitos to Port Producers motorcar, then Indiana, for the Amazon river, boat, rickshaw then again, in the jungle, Mazan, on the Napo river, and there, after doing some things in the center health, we depart by boat back to Santa Clotilde, a 200 km upstream, where we base. We arrived at 15 pm. The point is located in Peru, about 200 km from Ecuador and 40 km from Colombia.
I have no power to write more today but tomorrow I will do my best to put more pictures and video, and summary of the wifi network in the things we are implementing telemedicine.

Frustration Card Game Steps
As my friend Nacho put on his blog, this time the work is:
1 - Implement a prototype digital stethoscope 4-point wireless telecommunications network for watershed health Napo River, which has been developed over the past years between EHAS and FUNDATEL. The aim is to introduce into this design phase of the stethoscope, as many issues as may arise in real use by real users are expected to have a stethoscope, making them participate in the design of the device.
2 - Gather information to establish a project of systematization of clinical information in this region, in order to simplify and unify all the information on health which is handled by health facilities.
try to have another post today, explaining how the communications network is Napo.

Indian Saree Boobs Woman
Mister, Welcome to Iquitos! Staff
Iquitos, as contained in the previous trip, is the only city of its size in the world (about 500 thousand inhabitants) is communicated only by airport or water. Had its golden era with the installation of the factory ship and then the rubber, but then the seeds carried by the English paid off Malaysia and Singapore, Iquitos was forgotten again. Today is the gateway to the Amazon jungle and recovered a lot of activity because of the oil found in jungle, so it is common to see foreign engineers in the oil, so many assume that we are English speaking and greet you with a Hello Mister! Welcome to Iquitos, Mister!
morning, nothing like the excitement of a rickshaw ride to our destination for breakfast! if that's not you wake up ...
My breakfast juice, camu camu, banana fried juanes huancaina and salsa, which is rice with some meat, seasoned and cooked wrapped in a sheet bijao. The sauce is, pica.

How Long Trichomoniasis Without Knowing
In Lima, I met with Nacho (Andalusian) and Jose (Asturias), my two friends and engineers in telecommunications and informatics, as part of the Hispano-American Health Link and Engineering Without Borders. Here we are at the hotel in Lima, coordinating the planning of work.
Later we met with Jaime Vera, PUCP and went to lunch at a typical restaurant in Lima: Tres Marias. Plenty of traditional food and then to the airport for flight to Iquitos.

Some photos
I have no good bandwidth now, but I'll try to put some pictures. This is in preparation, when filling the bag. Material is hygiene, insect repellent, bag, hammock survival, clothing, knife and of course the backpack.
is essential to good location of the center of gravity of the backpack, so we are not walking out of balance. This is accomplished with the location of things separated into three groups: things light, medium and heavy, and also with patience. The adjustment of the various belts once we fit a backpack, gives us the necessary comfort for walking.
This photo is also a of the notebook that was also the smallest bag, which hangs forward when you have to walk. (Unfortunately mate is)
One of the problems of traveling alone is that you appear in a few pictures! This picture was taken because in Ezeiza that this flag made of bricks Rasti! After several hours of waiting, the boarding area and Lima.
If I can, now I make another entry.
